SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES

CALL TO ORDER
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Cox at 9:00 a.m., with the meeting conducted via in- person and Zoom.

Mayor Cox (remote)
Mayor Cox and Councilmember Hoffman announced that they would attend the meeting remotely and that there were no adults present in the room from where they broadcast.
Vice Mayor Woodside made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Blaustein, and unanimously carried, to approve the remote appearance of Mayor Cox and Councilmember Hoffman under emergency circumstances under Government Code 54953.

FINANCES, DEPARTMENT HEAD PRIORITIES, AND CITY COUNCIL PRIORITIES
2.A. Public Comment
Adrian Brinton, Babette McDougal, Joe Novitski, Fred Moore, Sharna Brockett, Morgan Pierce, Alice Merrill, Charles Melton, and Jeffrey Chase provided public comments.
2.B. Strategic Planning Workshop to Discuss City Goals, Sausalito 2020- 2026 Strategic Plan, Strengths/Weaknesses/Opportunities/Threats Review, City Finances, Department Head Priorities, and City Council Priorities Amy Howorth, Governance and Leadership with MRG Solutions; Chris Zapata, City Manager; Stacie Gregory, Police Chief; Chris Tubbs, Fire Chief; Fred Hillard; Fire Marshall; Kevin McGowan, Public Works Director; Brandon Phipps, Community & Economic Jevelopment Director; Catie Thow Garcia, Resiliency & Sustainability Manager; Katherine Nikitas, Human Resources Manager; Bryan Vitale, Community Services Director, Sergic Rudin, City Attorney; and, Chad Hess, Finance Director made a presentation and responded to questions posed by the City Council.
The City Council conducted the strategic planning workshop to discuss city goals, the Sausalito 2020- 2026 strategic plan, strengths/weaknesses/opportunities/threats review, city finances, and other city council priorities.

ADJOURNMENT
Mayor Cox adjourned the meeting at 1:58 p.m.
