ADJOURNMENT
This item was introduced by Recreation Division Manager Pfefferkorn and a presentation was given by Karen Folsom from Odell Engineering. Pete Gonda from Baker Tilly was in attendance to answer questions. Staff responded to questions and received feedback from the Council Members and Commissioners. Discussion topics included joint use agreements, bike parking, aquatic center, active versus passive recreation, development impact fees versus in-lieu fees, funding sources, scoring system used, land use for the Glenwood Preserve, splash pads and focus groups.
David Alreck, a resident of Scotts Valley, remarked that he did not feel that the study adequately solves the park gap problem. He also would like to see accessible pathways from one park to another, and he would like to see more information about Lodato Park and the gun range.
Lindsey Rice submitted public comment via email prior to the meeting (see attached).
The meeting adjourned at 6:10 PM.
