Thank you to the firefighters, our Police Department and Public Works teams who responded to the Glen Fire above Green Hills Road today. Due to their quick response, the quarter-acre fire was contained very quickly.

Work on Scotts Valley Drive continues, and we expect the striping to be completed early next week. Most of the remaining striping work consists of green bike lane treatments. Utility work will continue for the next couple of weeks.

Work on the Granite Creek culvert replacement is also continuing. Some additions to the scope have been necessary due to unexpected soil conditions.

On Bethany Drive, the contractor working to repair the water main break was directed to open one lane with temporary stop control. This will maintain access for all types of vehicles traveling on the road.
