1. CALL TO ORDER
Mayor/Chair Oglesby called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
2. ROLL CALL – ESTABLISHMENT OF QUORUM
PRESENT: Burks, Garcia-Arrazola, Oglesby, Pacheco, Miller ABSENT: None
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
Assistant City Manager Manny Gonzalez led the pledge.
4. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
5. BUSINESS ITEMS
A. ADOPT A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY FINANCE DIRECTOR TO ADJUST THE FISCAL YEAR 2023-2024 BUDGET IN AN AMOUNT OF $59,000 FOR LOBBYIST SERVICES
Finance Director Victor Damiani provided and overview of the request and advised the Council that $25,000.00 was budgeted for fiscal year 2023-2024 for lobbyist services.
At the September 21 meeting, the agenda item erroneously omitted a required budget adjustment to increase the appropriation for lobbyist services. The is asked to authorize an increase to the fiscal year 2023-2024 appropriation for lobbyist services by $59,000.00
There were no comments from the public.
On motion by Council/Agency Member Miller and second by Council/Agency Member Garcia-Arrazola, and carried by the following vote, the City Council/Successor Agency moved to adopt a resolution authorizing the adjustment to the fiscal year 2023-2024 budget in the amount f $59,000.00 for lobbyist services.
