I am so pleased to hear that the City is considering the naturalization of Calder Creek! The Park Master Plan definitely needed improvement, in that it actually undergrounded even more of a splendid natural feature that deserves being a central amenity to the City. Of the 3 options under review by the Council, I prefer Option 2; it would create creek frontage almost as long Option C, while avoiding conflict with users of the ballfield.
Regarding the ballfield: It is the largest open space available for events, and you should consider how to share that space with the little league. My kids certainly enjoyed playing ball in the park, but it has always seemed unfortunate that the field isn't available the vast amount of time that ball is not being played. In comparison to Option C, which might involve creating another field elsewhere, it would be much less expensive to deal with damage to the lawn or install synthetic grass. Please adopt, AND IMPLEMENT, Option B
