Council Members,
My name in John Fore, I am a lifelong citizen of Sebastopol, and a board member of the Western Sonoma County Historical Society. I am writing to ask that you choose to preserve the ball field in Ive’s Park. Since playing in the inaugural season of Little League in 1957 I have continued to play ball on that field in eight different decades. As I wrote to Neysa Hinton, I would very much appreciate the opportunity to play in the ninth decade, and to possibly watch my great grandchildren play on the field. I have already had the privilege of playing on a team with my son, daughter and grand daughters. Everyone I know is in support of preserving the field.
