Dear Members of the Sebastopol City CouncilIt is my understanding that the Council is considering the elimination of Polley Field at Ives Park.
As a resident of Sebastopol for almost ten years, I would strongly urge you to maintain Polley Feild in whatever redesign you undertake. Polley is only one of two youth baseball fields in our town. Losing it would be a shame.
As a parent of two children attending public Sebastopol schools, I have seen the joy youth sports have brought to kids in our community. Diminishing their options would be quite sad.
Thank you for your consideration and service to our town.
Respectfully, Shane Finley
