Hello City Council,
I am a Sebastopol native and now I am raising my kids here as well. Poly Field holds a magic for Sebastopol youth baseball players. I remember the excitement my brother had when he was finally old enough to walk onto that field. The bright lights of a night game is thrilling and is something you look forward to doing when you are finally old enough to play there. My son has heard stories and watched videos of my brother (his uncle) playing there and this is finally his year. The disappointment and sadness closing this field will bring to so many children and past players of this field is heartbreaking. Please keep this field open and all of its memories alive. Sebastopol has changed enough over the years don’t take this away too. It’s right in the heart of Sebastopol let’s keep it there.
Thanks,
Brena Kennedy
