I am a Sebastopol resident writing with my concerns for what I see as being a rushed move to adopt smart water meters when there are significant issues associated with the high EMF Output that they produce. The negative health effects that they are known for, when added to other sources of EMFs all combine to create potential harm for many people.
When 5G was being "pitched" to D.C., an industry representative who spoke, conveyed that some countries were waiting 1 to 2 years to come up with "standards", which refers to health & safety standards. He conveyed that the U.S. has no plans for implementing safety standards.
He emphasized 3 times that this project was worth billions.
Profit has been placed before health & safety far too often. The citizens of Sebastopol and our city council need to make a different choice!
