Dear Council Members,
I am writing to support agenda item #10, Adoption of Ordinance 1136, An Ordinance of the City of Sebastopol Adding Chapter 10.76 Recreational Vehicle Parking Ordinance and Amending Chapter 10.36 of the Sebastopol Municipal Code.
As City Manager McLaughlin stated at the 1/18/22 meeting, the Parking Ordinance can be implemented immediately without any additional RV Parking.
In addition, Council committed to implementing a City Wide Parking Ordinance prior to moving any vehicles onto the SAVS Safe Parking Site. There are currently 8 vehicles on the site and Council has not approved a Parking Ordinance. Council needs to uphold its commitment to its constituents and pass a Parking Ordinance prior to moving more vehicles onto the RV site at 845 Gravenstein North.
Vote yes on the Parking Ordinance and fulfill your promise to Sebastopol's small business owners and residents.
