Dear City Council and Staff,
Please take notice that according to AB-2223 Reproductive Health, it is no longer a woman's right to choose but rather, a person's or an individual's right to choose.
AB-2223 strikes out every instance where the word woman or woman's is used and replaces it with person, person's, individual or individual's.
In California, a pregnant woman no longer exists in official texts and even the governor is very careful not to mention the word woman when referring to reproductive rights. The City of Sebastopol should correct its text accordingly.
