Greeting City Councilmembers,
The Climate Action Committee (CAC) has two requests regarding the upcoming agenda:
1) We request that the CAC recommendation regarding building code changes be included in or appended to the staff report about building codes. The planning department should be able to supply the CAC recommendation. 2) We request that the proposed lease of city lot space for EV fast chargers be referred to CAC for review prior to consideration by council. The CAC has expertise in EV charging options and would appreciate the chance to evaluate this proposal.
