Hello Council Members and staff,
I am writing to express my hope that the Surveillance Technology Ordinance proposed by the ACLU to limit and oversee police surveillance of our citizens is approved. I understand that it has the backing of the chief of police. This ordinance protects us all from the misuse of surveillance technology which invades our privacy and coul, in the wrong hands, endanger individuals who disagree with those in positions of power. Let's join other progressive communities around the country who are saying no to unchecked surveillance.
