Hello City Council,
I just learned that you want to move public comment to the end of the meeting. That’s a sure way for the council to not hear from seniors, parents, the disabled or others that tend to go to bed “early.” Why was such a decision made when you are supposedly concerned about what your constituency cares about? Many of us campaigned for you, voted for you and are under the assumption that you equally care for us. If you don’t care for us, maybe stop pretending and just close your doors to the public. At least that would be honest. I hope you change your minds and treat us, your constituents, with integrity instead of manipulation. This is a sure way to deaden community participation. As a new resident to Sebastopol I am very disappointed. Please reconsider that decision and include us.
Disappointed,
Lena Rothman
