Dear Council Members,
As a regular council meeting attendee I know that the public comment period can often be boring and tedious.
However, to encourage participation and involvement in the governing process it's really important to provide a forum for input that makes it as simple as possible for citizens to participate. Moving public comment to the end of the meeting will surely discourage that. Though I have no patience for much of the public input and wish it would end almost as soon as it begins, I have to ask you to please leave public comment at the beginning of the meeting. I often turn down the volume, walk away from the screen and scream back at the idiotic, repetitive and time wasting input from many of the citizens. Still I believe it's important for it to remain at the beginning of the meeting.
