Subject: Sebastopol 24 bus totally necessary to seniors! Date: Monday, June 26, 2023 1:58:26 PM
Dear City Council,
I’m writing to let you know how vital the Sebastopol 24 bus is to my thriving as a 76 year old senior resident of Luther Burbank Heights and Orchards in Sebastopol! I do not drive and cannot walk to town! I use the bus for grocery and drugstore shopping, banking, UPS store, post office, library, picking up prescriptions, going to the movies, eye doctor, Gravenstein medical clinic, blood draw at Quest, occasional urgent care, ace hardware store, ace pet store etc.
Being able to ride the bus is totally essential to my well being.
And yes, sometimes it’s nice to just get out on the bus and go get an ice cream! Please find the funds to keep the 24 bus operating. It’s such a necessity for so many of us! Thank you for your consideration.
