INTRODUCTION/PURPOSE:
The item is to request the Council make an appointment to the Sonoma County Transportation Authority’s Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (CBPAC).
BACKGROUND:
The City Council earlier in the evening conducted interviews with the following individuals for the Citizen Representative opening on the Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee.

DISCUSSION:
The Council is asked to consider appointment to the opening on the Countywide Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee based on the interview conducted earlier in the evening, or the City Council could consider re-posting the opening for future Council interview/appointment. The appointment is to be held until the citizen representative resigns.
ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW:
The proposed action is not a project under the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).

This action supports the following 2019 City Council Goals and General Plan Actions:
Goal 5: Provide Open and Responsive Municipal Government Leadership PUBLIC COMMENT:
As of the writing of this staff report, the City has not received any public comment. Any comments received following the publication and distribution of this staff report will be provided to the City Council as supplemental materials before or at the meeting. In addition, public comments may be offered during the public comment portion of the agenda item.

There is no direct fiscal impact associated with the recommended action tonight.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends the Sebastopol City Council make appointments for the one opening on the Sonoma County Transportation Authority's CBPAC listed above or consider re-posting the opening for future Council i nterview/a ppoi ntment.
