City Council members,
I am a longtime Sonoma County resident who does business and shops in Sebastopol, and spent much of my childhood there. I am writing to encourage you to please support a ceasefire resolution.
It has been really horrifying to see my tax dollars going to the brutal massacre of the Palestinian people. As the child of a Middle Eastern immigrant, I want to know that my home county is supportive of all people, and especially the survival of the Arab people.
The images I see daily from people on the ground in Gaza have absolutely devastated me.
Children missing limbs from operations without anesthesia, families weeping over their dead.
It must end.
Please, please support the end of the horrors happening.
