Hello I am ling time Sonoma County resident. I lived and worked in Sebastopol for a very long time. Much of my clients and community is in Sebastopol that goes back 20 years. I am writing in support of a ceasefire resolution to be passed on the agenda.
I am Jewish. I feel safer in a world that works towards peace and Justice and diplomacy for a nation that has been unjustifiably oppressed for 75 years. Palestinians are under way a genocide and being ethnically cleansed and it is our duty, as Americans to stand up to Israel.
The thousands of babies and children and innocent people should not be collectively punished for the violent response from Hamas fighters.
