Subject: Ceasefire Resolution Pulled from Agenda

I am deeply disappointed to hear that the proposed Ceasefire Resolution has been pulled from your consent calendar for tonight's meeting.
A ceasefire can only support peace and a process towards a solution for both Palestinians and Israelis. The current conditions for Palestinians are unimaginable and appalling. Death from starvation and disease happening now; people are cornered into small areas of cities, living in tents while being bombed to their deaths. The supply chain for food, medicine, water, etc has been cut by over 70% of what it was pre October 7th. Women are picking weeds to feed what is left of their families. Is this what we value? Is this what we support? They are experiencing the most devastating conditions any human being could ever be subjected to. I'm sure you are all aware that the daily statistics regarding deaths is now up to 36,000 human lives.
What makes it possible for you to not support a ceasefire resolution? Do you really believe Israel needs to protect itself from people who are fleeing bombing on wooden carts driven by horses and donkeys? I am saddened and heartbroken by your decision to pull and/or water down a ceasefire resolution. Your actions speak volumes. What has happened in PeaceTown?
