Dear Mayor Rich,
What kind of country and “democracy” do we live in where the City Council allows itself to be bullied by controversy? If you don’t want to do it in person, then why wouldn’t you at minimum do it
on Zoom? I don’t understand why you would drop it, other than being pressured by those with economic interests that serve you? I don’t want to believe that to be true, but we have a police
force that is paid to protect us. This feels more like political pressure than fear, especially if you won’t do a Zoom, that says a lot of where you’re coming from.
I’m very disappointed in
Sebastopol. On one hand, it’s easy to say “I understand” but since there is another option available (Zoom), then that’s why it does not feel like a valid reason.
