Dear Sebastopol City Council,
My name is Cass Stewart, and I'm a resident of Santa Rosa, born and raised in Sonoma County. I'm writing today in support of the Ceasefire Resolution proposed to the council, and to urge the council the keep Item 4 on the agenda.
The 2.4 million people in Gaza face the threat of starvation, sickness, and death, with limited to no access to food, water, shelter and basic medical supplies. Nationwide, more than 100 municipalities have called for an end to the siege on Gaza and passed their own ceasefire resolutions, including the Cotati City Council. I've read over the resolution proposed to the Sebastopol City Council, and believe it is a balanced proposal that could prevent the killing of ALL innocent civilians.
I thank you for your time, and urge you to listen to your Sebastopol constituents and West County residents.
