Dear Sebastopol City Council,
My name is Joel Koopman, I am a carpenter/builder in Sebastopol and surrounding areas, also a father of two, a resident homeowner, and a committed voter.
Please keep Item 4, the Ceasefire Resolution, on the consent calendar. And please vote for a ceasefire! Can we really be Peacetown if we do not call for peace? Many scholars agree that this conflict has no military solution, and many innocents continue to be killed. More children have been killed than the entire population of Sebastopol! I do not imagine you would have any hesitation calling for a ceasefire if these were your children. Please join the over 100 municipalities across the country calling for ceasefire. I am neither pro-Hamas nor pro-Israel, I am prohumanity. I hope you are as well. Thank you, Joel Koopman
