Dear Sebastopol City Council,
I am a Jewish resident of Sebastopol, and I urge you to vote in favor of the Ceasefire Resolution. Peacetown should join over 500 municipalities nationwide in calling for an end to the siege on Gaza. 65% of the 28,000 civilians killed in Gaza are women and children. All of the 2.4 million residents in Gaza are facing starvation, sickness, and death. The proposed resolution is balanced. It calls for an end to all killing. Peace and dignity for all is a balanced resolution. I am a Jewish educator, Jewish clergy member, and have extensive family in Israel. I beg you to vote in favor of ceasefire.
Please, listen to your Sebastopol constituents and West County residents. Don't let outside agitators strong-arm the City Council into rejecting the Ceasefire Resolution. --
