Thank you Sebastopol Council members for providing this opportunity for me to comment on this issue. I feel very connected to Sebastopol, because while I am a very senior ‘ senior citizen’ actually, residing in a senior community in Santa Rosa, my beloved family lives in Sebastopol, and it’s like my real home. I care about all the things you care about and have been elected to protect and possibly to improve about Sebastopol. perhaps of more importance to you, is the fact that I love to shop and leave tax dollars behind and Sevastopol! I’m very sad, that, with all the important things related, primarily to Sebastopol, on your agenda, you are being asked to weigh in on a very complicated international issue. However, it is true, that should you decide, despite my objections, To pass this proposal on for further hearings and discussions, I have to urge you to be aware of the consequences to many Sebastopol residents and their families, as well as all your neighbouring communities and their families.

Wherever these malevolent proposals are considered, your Previously valued , law abiding and productive families who have long been supporters of the nation of Israel, whether they identify with Judaism, as their chosen, religion, or not, automatically become targets of derision, vindictiveness, threats of violence, therefore, feeling terrorised.

And that, of course is the goal, is it not?
I know the wonderful people of Sebastopol. I have yet to meet any resident who is not caring and considerate, as well as Neighbor and a friend, regardless of colour, creed, gender, choice, or any other factor. Therefore, I choose to take it for granted, that each and every one of you on the city council have all of those qualities as well. I choose to believe that you care about me and my family.

I am thankful to God, that I live in a democracy and can communicate my concerns to my elected representatives.

As I suspect you do too, I have great concern about the current state of affairs in the Middle East, and you and I should communicate with our national representatives regarding t tthis and other national and international issues.

This proposal you are being asked to consider comes from sources steeped in ancient hatreds. That is why these proposals are being distributed in every corner of our nation.

Please don’t allow it to enter our beloved Sebastopol.
