Dear Council Members,
I am a jewish resident of Sonoma County, and I urge you to support a ceasefire resolution.
A ceasefire resolution does not create division in our community. Turning our eyes away from a genocide does.
The humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza is beyond anything we have seen in our lifetimes.
Hospitals, medical workers, and children- have been bombed. People are facing faminewithout enough food, drinking water, or access to medical care. The Israeli government’s collective punishment against civilians (including over 10,000 children) will not make anyone, including jewish people, safer.
