Dear Councilmembers
I’m writing you requesting your continued financial support for the Sebastopol Senior Center.
I’ve been a member for many years.
The Center helped me greatly while I was a caregiver for my Mother who lived with me for five years before she died. I brought my Mother to the Center several days a week to the Senior Social Club. The Club provided her a wonderful social outlet and provided me some critical respite. My Mother’s last best friend in life was made at the Center.
The Center and its terrific staff brought much love and joy to my Mother in the last days of her life.
The Center helped deliver Meals on Wheels to us during a time of critical caregiving need and through the covid pandemic.
Also, the Volunteer Ride Program helped get me to critical medical treatment when I couldn’t get there on my own.
The Sebastopol Senior Center is a local community organization that really makes a difference and contributes to the well being of our town.
I hope you will continue to financially support the critical work they do.
