Dear Council Members,
Although I don't live in Sebastopol many of my friends do and I have seen over many years how important the center is to them. I know they take advantage of the programs, including transportation, support groups for mental health, LGBTQ gatherings, and even the meal program. Your senior center in Sebastopol is, in my opinion, a remarkable institution that could serve as a model for such centers in other places. It is one of the liveliest, most utilized centers I know of. Cutting funding to the center would severely impact the lives of many of my friends.
