Dear Council Members,
As a senior, a member of the Sebastopol Senior Center and a Volunteer Driver for the Center, I want to add my voice to the critical importance of continued financial support for the Center and the vital services it provides. This is a refuge for so many seniors who would otherwise be isolated and without access to programs that help maintain their independence. I see firsthand from my volunteer driving how important the center has been in assisting seniors to be able to access their medical and other necessary appointments. It is a lifeline for many to continue to learn new skills, to become aware of events and other services available in our community, to maintain and foster new social relationships and ultimately to thrive. It deserves your continued support.
