Please do not cut the budget for the Sebastopol Senior Center, which provides important services on a daily basis to so many of us. From low-cost meals to rides to classes to a variety of educational services, the Center's impact on this community is huge.
Middle class seniors often get ignored or overlooked in the face of the pressing needs of the homeless, or the short term perks offered by big developers. It'd be nice if town leaders could remember the contributions seniors have made to this community over the decades and honor them accordingly, giving them priority over yet more bike lanes or so-called beautification projects.
