To our much appreciated City Council:
Please know how much I appreciate your time in working for our city. Also know that I can imagine the challenges of trying to balance the difficult changes in the city budget. My concern is for all the non profit agencies that depend on your ongoing support. I am focusing on the "Community Center" as we have called it for over 30+ years. I have attended Jazzercise and other classes forever. Was a huge supporter of all the music including the Celtic festival years ago. In fact, Craig and I have donated many thousands of dollars to the community center. This year included to help fund most all of the music concerts and certainly to fund the concerts for the school kids. I mention this not to be prideful but to demonstrate the desire and work many of us put forth to support art, music and services for the city. Please continue to meet us part way with some amount of city money.. Sebastopol will no longer be a destination without vital art, music and services. Thank you for your consideration.
