I’m asking that strong consideration and creative problem-solving be used before potential cuts to community grants, such as the Senior and Cultural Centers, are made. I moved to this county in my early 20s, married a local boy, raised a family, and was a teacher here over the last 47 years. Programs such as these are essential to the wellbeing of our residents. Please be mindful and forward-thinking. These outreach programs are part of a community’s strong infrastructure, and certainly part of what truly makes America great.
