Dear Friends,
I'm writing to let you know the many, many benefits the Senior Center provides to me. Over the last few years, I've had the great fortune to be greeted with warmth and good cheer literally every time I enter the building!
From there, the benefit continues and multiplies. It might be a class of Harmony for Well Being or strengthening through Tai Chi. It might be a workshop on how to efficiently downsize or how to avoid scams that target elders. Other workshops I've attended include how to organize important documents and how to prepare for an emergency.
Every time I visit the Center I see others who are in the later years of life enjoying connection, a healthy meal, reading the local newspaper and talking about upcoming events.
I ask you to please do everything you can to keep funding this valuable and heart-felt organization. There is so much more that is offered than what I mentioned above.
I'm sure you know older folks in the community who need this valuable resource to support them in a sometimes challenging time of life called Getting Older! It can be a time of continued loss: of health, friends, independence. Please keep funding this group of dedicated people who bring valuable information, priceless connections and so much more to all of us on the path of aging.
