Please seriously reconsider cutting off all funding to the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center. I have operated a business in Sebastopol for 14 years and one of the things that adds tremendously to the character of Sebastopol is the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center with its variety of programs and events. So many towns in the U.S. are cultural deserts and making everything virtual does not seem to be enhancing things. The Barlow is interesting, but mainly exists for the tourism industry, which only does so much to enhance the culture of Sebastopol. It would be a sad event to see Sebastopol just to become another overcrowded and massively overpriced tourist town where eventually the only people who are living in the area are the very wealthy and the people who are here to serve the tourists. So please rethink your choice to defund the Sebastopol Community Cultural Center and try to keep this town's character intact.
