Dear Council Members,
Over 30% of the people in Sebastopol are over 60 years old. I am almost 80. It is a time in life when loss becomes a constant companion - loss of loved ones, loss of heath, including cognitive abilities, loss of independence…. And long-term, uninvited responsibilities appear, like caregiving for a loved one. Amidst this reality is the vibrant Senior Center that offers support and connectedness.
Please continue to fund this important resource in our community.
