Dear Council Members
I have learned that eliminating funding for the Sebastopol Senior Center is being considered by the City Council. Please do not do this! The SSC is an integral part of the lives of so many here in our small town. It is a bulwark against the crushing loneliness that affects the senior population especially, with the inherent deleterious effects to one's mental and physical health. It provides community, education, recreation and more to so many. The SSC is a treasure that Sebastopol is lucky to have.
Please fund our center!
SIncerely,
Barbara Chapman
