I would like to express my concern about the proposal to eliminate funding to the Sebastopol Area Senior Center due to the current short fall.
The Senior Center is a vital element to our community. The classes and services our targeted to over 30% of the Sebastopol Community.
The center also offers programs for the care givers for Seniors. These are the sons/daughters/neighbors who are helping to care for the seniors in our city.
The senior center is one of the gems in our community that we should all be proud and support. To consider eliminating support is a travesty
I sincerely hope the council reconsiders this suggestion. There must be a better way to deal with the short fall.
