As a longtime Sebastopol resident it hurts my heart to see the reluctance you have shown in bringing this resolution to a vote. To maintain silence on this question is to, de facto, endorse the cruelty currently being levelled at the Palestinians above and beyond the oppressive status quo they have lived with for decades. I struggle to understand how it is that it has taken you so long to take a stand. I doubt that you need to hear more facts or see more photos of brutalities to persuade you to act. If I could find the key to your hesitancy I would look to bring that forward so that you could take the necessary step to make this strong statement on behalf of our community, Sebastopol.
