The staff report submitted to the council regarding risks to Sebastopol’s city government includes this:
Impacts on Police and Fire Departments:
As noted on page 12 of Mr. Krug’s report, the project would likely increase the number of calls for Sebastopol police and fire services compared to other uses of the site. The Police and Fire Chiefs expect the impacts on the Department’s time to be no more than the Horizon Shine project.
Have the impacts to these departments' time due to the existence of the Horizon Shine project ever been enumerated? This information has been requested during public comment at several council meetings and never addressed directly. If such information is available, please publish it before discussion of agenda item 6 commences during the April 2, 2024 council meeting so cost analysis ranging beyond an anecdotal flourish might be considered.
