Dear Mayor and City Council Members,
I am against any ceasefire resolutions. While the middle east situation is tragic and I feel for the loss of all lives there, I do not think it is any of our local governments business. I trust our federal government to deal with it.
Local ceasefire resolutions cause division in the community and we are already starting to see a rise in antisemitism in the bay area and here locally this past week. It makes me nervous and I do not feel safe.
