Dear City Council Members:
My name is Omar Figueroa. I am a homeowner, parent, and small business owner here in Sebastopol, all within city limits.
I write to remind everyone that we are known as Peacetown because we support peace. We know that war is no good. Peace is the way.
Therefore, I join many of us who are speaking out in support of the Gaza ceasefire resolution.
We come from all walks of life, but we all understand that Peace is The Way.
It may be tempting to attempt to remain neutral. Please recall the following quote by the great Martin Luther King Jr.: "The hottest place in Hell is reserved for those who remain neutral in times of great moral conflict.” This is one of those times.
Please vote in support of the Gaza ceasefire resolution. Please choose peace. In Peacetown, this is what We the People favor. Peace is The Way.
