Hi,
I'm writing to you again as a mother of two young children who attend school in Sebastopol. It is imperative that Peacetown take a stand for humanity and support the passing of a ceasefire resolution. The genocide in Palestine has gone on for far too long, too many lives have been lost, and an end is no where in sight. The repercussions of this atrocity will last for decades. In order to even begin healing and liberation for all people, a permanent ceasefire needs to take place. Unfortunately our federal government leaders have lost touch with their humanity, along with the many other folks who support mass killing of innocents. Please do not be blinded by fear and hatred. We need our local leaders to step up, represent the voices of the people, and formally recognize that our city tax dollars should not be going towards the mass killing of innocent people. Ceasefire now.
