Dear esteemed members of Sebastopol City Council,
Please sign the Ceasefire Resolution without any more delay.

We need hope in this brutal world and although this will be a small measure of good faith, it helps us to feel like a peaceful world is possible.

Far too many women, children, men, doctors, aid workers and journalists have been murdered to call this a war or even a conflict.

It is a genocide and we need to give our government the message that every small town with a conscience will speak up against this kind of horrendous atrocity.

We are not ok. We need to do something to add to the collective heart of humanity, especially when we see unending supplies of grotesque military weaponry being given/sold to Israel without our congressional approval… and certainly without the approval of the American public.

Sign the resolution.

Sebastopol resident and educator,
Nell Hergenrather
