Subject: Please support a ceasefire in Gaza

I am writing to request a resolution from our City Council in support of a ceasefire in Gaza.
The death toll has been huge, and it grows every day. The majority of the deaths are children and women.
So many, in fact 2.4 million residents of Gaza are starving. This is horrifying to me.
The resolution is balanced. It calls for an end to all killing, the return of hostages, and calls for long-term peace work in Israel and Palestine! I am a resident of Sebastopol. We call ourselves "Peace Town". It is time to live up to that name.
