Dear Sebastopol City Council
My name is Coby Leibman. I am a long term resident and voter within Sebastopol. I have lived here over 12 years.
I'm also Jewish and a descendant of ancestors that survived the Holocaust. I strongly urge Sebastopol City Council to put the ceasefire resolution back on the agenda. Please listen to your Sebastopol constituents and West County residents in hearing the importance of standing for a balanced peaceful solution to the conflict that accounts for all sides and the hostages being returned. Peacetown should join 100's of municipalities in calling for an end to this conflict and bringing an end to the violence. Despite my families ties to Israel none of my current relatives support this conflict. This type of civilian killing should never be condoned and we say not in our name to the 30,000 civilians killed in this conflict, 70% of which are women and children according to a UN independent report.
Sebastopol should stand for peace and an end to starvation, sickness and killing. This resolution stands for peace and unites us to find a better way forward.
Thank you for listening!
Coby Leibman
