Subject: Sign policy for Council Meetings
Date: Sunday, March 31, 2024 10:24:35 AM
Through a Pubic Records Acr request, your capable staff M. Gourley provided me with fourteen items of discussion and policy on what is allowed and not allowed during public comments. It has become apparent your thoughtful and in-depth discussions have been waylaid by neo-Nazi Public Comments bombers and other naysayers. I see you are contemplating a policy change.

You do not have a policy on the issue of signs in the Council Chambers. Or if you do, no information was forthcoming from my PRA request . The mayor's due diligence to control public comment does not extend to the Council Chamber signs. There has been a young lady holding a sign accusing Israel of apartheid and genocide at two meetings. This is offensive to me and others.

Therefore, I will be seated in the front row with my flipchart signs during the cease-fire resolution presenting facts to the Council to counter the non-sensical notion that Israel is committing genocide or apartheid due to the October 7, 2023 attack on unarmed civilians at a rock concert and otherwise living their lives in kibbutz Be'eri.

Israel is at war with Hamas which is committed to killing Jews and eradicating Israel.
