Hi city council, thank you for your hard work for Sebastopol.
I’m a sebastopol citizen, writing in support of returning the Ceasefire resolution to the agenda for this upcoming city council meeting, and encourage the city council members to vote in favor of this resolution! What is happening in Gaza right now is beyond horrible. It is not a two sided war against equally powerful opponents, it is terrible violence and war crimes played out against a people who have been under occupation for seventy years. The US is funding these war crimes and directly supporting the actions of an extremist and genocidal Israeli government. As US citizens we need to stand against our nations resources being used in this way.
I believe strongly in Jewish safety and I believe the best way to make Jews more safe right now is to stop this war on Gaza that is turning the world against the state of Israel.
Thank you,
Helen
