Subject: Vote No on Divisive Israel-Hamas Resolution

I am a Sonoma County resident deeply concerned about your consideration of a resolution regarding the IsraelHamas War. I’m asking you to vote no on this resolution which will not bring peace abroad, but will continue to exacerbate community tensions and increase hate targeting the local Jewish community – as we have recently witnessed at local board meetings and even at a local grocery store.
Furthermore, this resolution is flawed as it does not condemn the Hamas attacks of October 7.
It is my hope that you will reject this divisive resolution and instead work to ensure that Sebastopol remains a welcoming city for residents of all backgrounds. Thanks for your attention to this matter.
