City Council:
I did not attend the March 19 council meeting, but I have strong feelings on how to deal with the Zoom bombing that occurred there. I believe the council should prohibit public comments from Zoom participants, and instead, limit them to in-person attendees. This is Diana Rich's first option in her email soliciting public opinion on dealing with the situation.
Prohibiting public comments from Zoom participants involves:
Muting all Zoom participants other than council members Disabling Zoom Chat for all participants.
Making sure screen sharing is turned off for participants (but not for hosts and co-hosts) Steve Bursch
