I would like to express my disappointment at the decision to remove the very fair and balanced cease fire resolution from the Council agenda. This is the most compelling moral issue of our time and Sebastopol should be on the right side of history. Probably a majority of residents favor a cease-fire resolution. Even President Biden has called for one in addition to most of the world community. This is what being Peacetown means - making hard decisions that will offend those who prefer war and killing. It should be on agenda again at the earliest possible date.
Although the budget problem in Sebastopol is critical, it is unlikely that public input on the budget will provide a solution on Tuesday. Will the budget issue not be resolved if the cease fire resolution is on the agenda? While on the budget, why was the fee waived for the Chamber of Commerce use of Ives Park? Dr. John W. Cruz
